JConcepts DR10 Brass Servo Mount Bracket

Setting the trim on any RC car is crucial but perhaps evenmore critical is for the trim to remain consistent throughout a race. JConceptsintroduces the servo mount bracket for the DR10 line of vehicles. Constructedof brass to add weight this unique part offers benefits over the stock mountconfiguration. Most drag racers like to add weight to the front-end of thevehicles to maintain balance which allows the vehicle to stay on 4 wheels andmove forward more efficiently.

The mount fits snug inside the chassis servo mounting areaincreasing the support while the 2 screw mounting locations are beefy in designand zeroed in for a direct mount to the chassis. The bracket has locations oneach side for included 3x6mm set screws to help align and maintain servo positionduring racing conditions, crashes and hard hits. The set screws are intended totouch-off against the servo case and provide additional support keeping theservo in the intended position which helps maintain consistent steering trim.

Installation Notes

To install, completely remove servo from vehicle and removestandard mounts. With the servo horn already in the correct position, alignplastic shims as previously used on the servo. Install bracket to each side andloosely fasten factory mounting screws with washers into the 4 locations andsnug them. Now, center the servo between the bracket and install the 3x6mm setscrews on each side, use a light amount of thread locking material and snugthem to touch off and keep the servo in place.

Completely clamp the 4 mounting screws on the front side tolock servo position. Remember to always use a light amount of thread lockingmaterial when securing steel screws into brass mounts. Reinstall the servo tovehicle and trim out and check EPA adjustments to complete assembly.
