Covid-19 Safety Plan
RC Pitstop will re-open its doors to the public as of Saturday, September 19, 2020. We continue to encourage online and telephone orders, but also look forward to welcoming customers back into the store under the following enhanced COVID-19 safety protocols.
Occupancy Limit: We will allow a maximum of one person per staff member in the store at any given time to a maximum of five. The current occupancy limit will be posted on the front door of the store. When a customer leaves the store, a staff member will see him/her/them out and will greet the next customer(s) and allow him/her/them into the store.
Waiting to Enter the Store: There will be markers 2 meters apart outside of the front door to the store, and customers are asked to line up on the markers keeping a minimum of 2 meters between themselves and any other customer(s).
Entering the Store: Customers may enter the store once a staff member has let them know that they are allowed in.
Masks: Masks are mandatory for all staff and customers.
Hand Sanitizing: Customers must use hand the hand sanitizer provided upon entering the store and prior to touching any merchandise. Staff must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day.
Store Layout: The store has been organized to allow for the maximum number of customers and staff to move around the store while still maintaining social distancing of a minimum of 2 meters.
Payment & Till Area: We will receive payment for goods at the tables set up outside of the store.
Order Pickup: Customers who prefer not to enter the store can still pick up their orders from the tables set up to receive payment and provide curbside pick up.
Cleaning Protocols: We have enhanced cleaning protocols. All surfaces that are touched by staff or customers will be wiped down with disinfectant frequently throughout the day. All surfaces, tools, equipment, and doorknobs will be sanitized each day after the store has closed.
Staff Only Areas: No more than three staff will be in the back room of the store at the same time and are required to follow social distancing protocols. We have established separate workspaces for staff that are a minimum of six feet apart. Understanding that they must move around the store when dealing with customers, our staff will take care not to come within six feet of another co-worker or customer while doing so.
