RPM engineers reviewed a brand new Traxxas Rustler 4×4and found the same problem we encountered on the Revo 2.0 – cracks at the bodymounting screw holes. This vehicle had never been run and the holes werealready weakened. If you’ve managed to pull any of your body mounting screwsthrough the body or if you think it’s about to happen, we have the perfectsolution to save you from ugly, thick body washers or worse, buying a new body!

RPM Body Savers for the Rustler 4×4 are a simple, yetclever solution to solve that problem. We disguise our Body Savers in twoseparate ways. Out front, they look like molded hood vents while in the rear,they look like exposed sections of a roll cage. The Body Savers are a perfectway to camouflage their intended purpose and yet still keep the body firmlyattached.

The way they work is straightforward; there are two pairsof screws holding the sub-frame of the body mounting system to the body in boththe front and rear of the truck. Our Body Savers tie two pairs of screwstogether, dispersing the pressure of holding the body to the sub-frame over awide area of the body. Even if the bottom of the mounting holes in the body arecompletely ripped out from prior crashes, our system still works!

RPM Body Savers are molded in black from our ultrastrong, engineering grade nylons for unmatched performance and are sold withfour Body Savers in each kit (two for the front and two for the rear).

Tech Notes: RPM Body Savers only work with the TraxxasRustler 4X4 bodies (TRA6717, TRA6717G & TRA6717R).  They have not been tested nor are theyguaranteed to work with any other Traxxas or aftermarket bodies.
